DCHS DRAMA and KEY CLUB are cooperating on a play.  Auditions are this afternoon from 3:30-5:30 in Mrs. Tuma's room, C-210.

 

Coming up on Wednesday, April 3rd during lunch is our first 'Huddle' event! A Huddle is a place where we come together to grow our faith for victory in every area of life. Grab your friends and come to the library Wednesday... FREE tacos and dessert are provided. We hope to see you there!

Teen of the Quarter: Applications for Teen of the Quarter are available in the principal’s office for juniors and seniors. Applicants will be judged on the following achievements: Character, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, and Scholarship. The applications need to be signed by 2 teachers and attach a wallet size photo. Two applicant’s will be selected. If you are selected you will receive a commemorative coin, and $100.00 Savings Bond. Deadline for applications are Monday, April 1st, 2019 by 3:30 P.M.

Freshmen:  On Tuesday, April 2, you are taking a field trip to DCC.  A pizza lunch will be provided for you.  When the bell rings at 8:10, you need to board the appropriate bus on Kendrick Avenue.  Students in Advisory with Gonzales, Cobb, and Tuma should board the bus with Miss Nelson.  Students in Advisory with Selvig, Tennant, and Siemsen should board the bus with Miss Fawns.  You need to make sure you get on the correct bus as this is where attendance will be taken for the day.  If you get on the wrong bus, you will be marked absent!  If you arrive late to school, you will miss the bus for the field trip.

Attention Seniors: The Senior All Nighter Committee is wanting you to have a say in the T-shirt designing!  Please submit your T-shirt design idea to the office no later than Wednesday, April 17th.  Seniors will then vote on the design that they would like on the T-shirt. The designer with the winning design will have their design will then have their design printed on the All Nighter T-shirts!  Be creative and have fun, just remember to keep it clean.

 

Sophomores and Juniors:  Room assignments for the Pre-ACT and ACT on Tuesday, April 2nd have been posted in your English classrooms.  Please make sure you know which room you need to report to that morning.  Remember, you may NOT bring your cell phone, purse, backpack, etc. into the room.  If you need to borrow a calculator to use on the test, you need to make arrangements with your math teacher PRIOR to Tuesday morning.

 

Trading Card Kids: Applications for Trading Card Kids are in the office. Any student that will be a sophomore, Junior or Senior are welcome to apply. Applications need to be completed, and returned to the office by April 26th.  Interviews for next year’s Trading Card Kids will be held April 30th- May 3rd.
