Tomorrow is our First and Second Grade Celebration at Jefferson! We are so excited to see all of you again! After stalking the weather, there is still a 50 percent chance of rain during our celebration. If it is raining in the morning, we will skip the time on the playground and will start the day coming into the building at 8:15. You will meet your child’s teacher in the hallway outside of their classroom and then proceed with the regular schedule. If it is not raining, we will stick with the original plan of meeting on the playground at 7:45. Juice and muffins will be provided for those attending the celebration. Either way, parents will be done at 9:30 and our school day will end at 3:10. Thank you so much for being flexible!

Hello everyone, In order to have the best schools that we can, the first step is getting feedback from all stakeholders. As community members, your feedback is vital to assist us in creating the best learning environments for our students. Please help us out by filling out the following survey. The more we know how to improve, the better experience we will be able to set up for our students, teachers, and staff. If you have already taken another one of our surveys, we invite you to take this as well as it has different questions on it. We would love it if every person in our community could give us feedback. 2021 Community Survey https://bit.ly/GPS2021CommunitySurvey Click on the link above. Once there, click on the “Take this survey” button. You only need to take the survey once. Survey Close date: July 9, 2021 Paper Survey: If you would like to fill out a paper survey, please come to the district office (DCHS Merrill Entrance). Thank you!

Thursday was Earth Day. Many Jefferson students were conservationists cleaning up outside and hanging posters to advocate for taking care of our Earth. What amazing students and staff we have!
