Daily Devil News September 2-8 (part 1)

Our Advanced Geography students were tasked this week with mapping out their lunch areas to showcase their knowledge of Space and Place and how that can impact their perception of a location. In groups, they mapped out the areas from memory before taking exact measurements. Upon completing their measuring, they create a scaled map of the area on a poster and a team coat of arms/house sigil. The students had a great time getting outside and working together on this project!

This year, the DCHS Key Club is on a Recycling Mission. We have placed recycling bins around the campus and are asking our fellow students to help us do our part by putting your empty bottles and cans in the bins to be recycled at G.R.O.W. each month. This is a great way to help our community, state, and world! Please remember these are recycling bins, so please do not throw trash or partially full items into them.
