Today is School Lunch Hero Day, and we have some of the very best ladies running our kitchen! Thank you for your delicious meals each day!

Today is Principal Appreciation Day! We would like to thank Mr. Buckley for everything that he does for our students and staff here at Lincoln!
Mr. Buckley has been at Lincoln for three years, so here are three fun facts about him:
1.) Favorite Holiday: Christmas 🎄
2.) Favorite Candy: Heath Bars 🍫
3.) Favorite Season: Summer and Football 🌞

It is MAY (almost)!
Be looking for the new lunch menu in your child's red folder. Just remember that if you plan on eating lunch with your child to call the office no later than 9 am. Lunch times are specific to grade levels: Third: 11:25-11:45 (Recess until 12:10) Fourth: 11:45-12:05 (Recess until 12:30) Fifth: 12:00-12:20 (Recess 11:35-12:00)
Also, there are several days within the month that your child's grade level might need to bring a sack lunch for field trips. Please be on the lookout for these dates as they come home with your child. ALL grades need to bring a lunch on May 8th for our field day!

Field Day is set for next Thursday (May 8th). We are still looking for some volunteers to help run stations. If you are interested in helping out, please reach out to Miss Slade and she will put you on the list!

Congratulations to our 3rd quarter B.U.G Award students! 🐞
Each quarter 4th and 5th grade students are awarded for "Bringing Up Grades." This is sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club and Dawson County High School's Key-Club members. Students are awarded certificates by these club members and then enjoy pizza and pop for lunch that day!
Also, during the assembly our 5th grade choice students performed a few songs for us. They did such a great job! 🎶
