Fourth graders have been busy "traveling" the state of Montana this week! The end goal is to find a town within the state that starts with each letter of the alphabet. This is a great kickoff for our year of learning the history of Montana!πŸ—ΊοΈ

Say "hello" to Parent-teacher Chat
Dear Dino Families, On behalf of the entire Lincoln Elementary staff, I would like to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! We are so excited to have you as part of our LES school family. I hope you were able to spend the summer recharging and spending time with your loved ones. As wonderful as summer is, at LES we are thrilled the school year is just around the corner and have been busy preparing for your children to join us this fall. This year, we will be hosting another transition day for our 3rd grade students to have a day of transition, learning, and building relationships while being the only students in the school. For our 3rd graders, we invite both students and parents to our First Day Celebration on Wednesday, August 14th. Buses will run on Wednesday for our 3rd grade students. On Thursday, August 15th, we will welcome all students back to Lincoln with a First Day Celebration for our 4th and 5th grade students. This will be a regular length school day running from 8:00 am-3:35 pm and buses will run as usual. The following will be the schedule for both celebration days: 7:45-8:05 Outside on the Playground meeting staff, breakfast available in the gym and playing 8:05-8:25 Open House Time in the classrooms, unpacking belongings, etc. 8:25-9:00 Parent Meeting in Gym with Mr. Buckley In order to stay up to date with all the things happening at Lincoln, I highly encourage you to download the Glendive Public Schools App. It is the best way to receive information and news from our school. The Lincoln website is also a great place to become familiar with. There you can access all kinds of information including the calendar, upcoming events, contact information for staff, the student handbook, and school supply lists. Facebook will be used to share pictures and videos, but the app will be how we get important information to you. I look forward to welcoming all students back into our school. We are so excited to build a team with you all and know that it is truly an honor to be trusted with your blessings. I cannot wait to get started! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the LES Office at 377-1105 Respectfully, Ryan Buckley Principal Lincoln Elementary School

What a fun day for our students! We had the opportunity to spend the day on the DCC campus and experience college life. 4th and 5th graders participated in a variety of S.T.E.M stations (including the extraction of DNA from a strawberry!). Then in the afternoon all of our students got to watch the Atomic Circus production put on by Dr. Matt Queen at MSUB. The show was AWESOME! There is going to be another showing TONIGHT at 6:30 in the DCC Auditorium that will be open to the public...and it is FREE! You do not want to miss this show!
